CHUAVEVO

ART INTERVENTIONS

No hay nadie

was proud to once again be part of the campaign #ArteDeNuestraGente in Córdoba, Argentina — a project that transformed buildings that once turned their backs on the city’s iconic riverfront into a large open-air artistic corridor.

Although I participated in multiple murals within this campaign, this piece became one of my favorites, both personally and publicly.

Created during the height of the coronavirus pandemic in 2021, the mural portrays an ironic situation taking place at the time in Argentina: a clandestine party. Inside, people are celebrating, while outside someone knocks desperately trying to enter. From within, the response is: “There’s no one here.”

The intention was to bring humor into a deeply tragic global moment — one that had major consequences worldwide, yet also left us with collective reflection.

This mural was my way of bringing color and joy back to my city during a dark time, and of giving back through art to the place that shaped me.

Formula 1 “UNTITLED”

I’m very happy and grateful to have been invited to take part in one of the most important sporting events in the world: the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix 2025.

My participation once again came through the curatorship of Miami-based artist Surge (@ilsurge), who has been responsible for selecting and bringing together artists for this platform over the past several years. It was truly an honor to be invited to be part of this experience.

The intention behind the piece was to portray one of the most iconic symbols of Formula 1 — the race car — while staying true to Chuave’s visual language. The artwork merges the power and precision of the vehicle with a Miami-inspired landscape, using a warm sunset color palette that reflects the city’s beach energy, cultural diversity, and vibrant atmosphere.

“NO CHANGES”

No Changes was my intervention for the 2023 edition of Wynwood Mural Fest, marking my second time participating in the festival.

The mural was painted in a particular area of Wynwood that, as of February 2025, has since been demolished — adding another conceptual layer of impermanence to the work.

The piece was intentionally dense, textured, and visually saturated, reflecting the overstimulation and information overload of contemporary society. Through layered characters and bold, striking colors, I explored the intensity and cultural complexity that define Miami.

Symbolic elements embedded in the mural included an alligator referencing Florida’s wild identity, a woman with surgically enhanced lips commenting on image culture, and a pig subtly nodding to Miami’s Cuban culinary influence.

A particularly meaningful moment occurred when legendary street art photographer Martha Cooper posed in front of the mural alongside me and Ninka Kramer. She photographed the piece and shared that in all her years documenting urban art, she had never seen something quite like it. That recognition remains deeply meaningful to me.

The connection for this collaboration came through Wynwood Buggies.

“BETTER TOGETHER”

Better Together was a mural donation created in 2022 for G-Star School of the Arts in Florida.

This project marked one of my first major experiences painting in the United States. Contributing to a space where artists such as Atomic, Camnut, Orla, Amanda, and others had previously painted was a great honor.

The mural was created entirely freestyle, representing a vibrant unified community — almost like a solidified mass of color — expressing the idea that together we are stronger.

While painting, I interacted with students deeply engaged in the arts. Many asked how improvisation at that scale was possible. I explained that my process is guided by instinct — something that comes from the heart — shaped by years of empirical experience in urban art.

The result was a joyful and dynamic piece reflecting growth, freedom, and collective strength.

“THE ALL STARS TATTOO CONVENTION”

n 2024, I was invited to be one of 16 artists painting at the entrance of the internationally recognized All Star Tattoo Convention, curated by Miami-based artist Golden 305.

For this intervention, I created an untitled freestyle piece built around bold, expressive linework. The intention wasn’t to communicate a specific narrative, but to embrace pure creative freedom — allowing the mural to exist between graffiti and character work.

The experience unfolded over three days of live painting alongside artists including Atomic, Remote, CHNK (MSG Crew), Nico Suavalicious, PHD Graffiti, Rubén Ubiera, and others.

It was an honor to contribute to a project celebrating tattoo culture and urban art at an international level.

“ORGULLO EDILICIO”

Orgullo Edilicio was created in 2021 and, at the time, became the largest mural of my career, spanning 130 square meters (approximately 1,399 square feet).

The project was commissioned by a television production company recognized for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, having received the Eikon Award for promoting gender identity values and fostering an inclusive environment.

The entire composition was created through complete improvisation — no prior sketch, fully intuitive.

One of the most demanding aspects was the execution. The mural was painted entirely using scaffolding rather than a lift, requiring multiple levels of assembly and physical navigation.

This project marked a turning point in my evolution as a large-scale muralist.

ART AT THE TRACK

Art at the Track took place in 2022 at Homestead-Miami Speedway during a major NASCAR event.

Being part of NASCAR was a powerful experience. Witnessing the magnitude and cultural significance of this American classic firsthand was eye-opening.

I was invited through the curatorship of Golden 305. The lineup included Carlos Solano, Davel, Camnut, Golden 305, CP1, COES, Nick, RAiZE, and others.

The event created a dynamic intersection between speed, motorsport culture, and urban art — demonstrating how contemporary visual expression can coexist with iconic American institutions.

“UNTITLED”

In 2024, I was invited to participate for the second time in the Space Coast Mural Festival in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

My first participation in 2022 involved painting an 8x8 wooden panel. In 2024, I was assigned a permanent wall — a significant step forward.

The mural was a collaborative exchange between my work, The Haunted Zoo (Canada), and Oddgrass (Nashville, Tennessee). All three of us work with character-driven styles, and the final result reflected a cohesive yet distinct visual dialogue.

The piece was created 100% freestyle.

It was a pleasure to collaborate with artists of such strong talent and shared vision.

“CASITA 2”

Casita 2 was created for Wynwood Mural Fest 2024 inside the iconic RC Cola Plant — considered by many a temple of graffiti culture.

Being assigned a space within this historic location was an honor.

The intervention centered around a small “casita” structure surrounded by zoomed-in vibrant characters, creating an immersive and playful composition.

The mural balanced architectural symbolism with expressive character work, reinforcing ideas of home, identity, and creative shelter within a space deeply rooted in street art history.
